Amazing design of interiors in double room. What a very, very nice stuff! Marvellous and stunning location in Pinhao, adjacent to the river, Pinhao town center and rail station literally next door as well as the main restaurant.

Breakfast including service very good
Very Late checkin: we only got rooms at 17:15 on the day of arrival, although we were already there at 12 and asked for a room at 15 o'clock. We would be very unkindly rejected by the receptionist. Very bad start!

Very stylish! Super well-kept complex with a wonderful view of the Douro. Classy pool area to relax after the tours in the vineyards. Breakfast left nothing to be desired. Access to the promenade for excursions on the river. You feel completely at home in the hotel. The young staff is very courteous.

Location of the hotel
It is not a 5 star hotel, service was good but standard, furniture a bit old fashioned. The hotel has no flair

The stay was absolutely superb. I was here for 2 nights and ate at in-house restaurant for dinner. The service was exceptional, the food was fantastic. I had access to ample parking, good pool. The hotel was in a central setting rIGHT on the rail line. And it's not very far from Restaurante Cais da Foz, ate there once or twice.

It was just an optimal selection for a fleeting moment in Pinhao with excellent value. The bar area had a nice choice of local wines, which we really enjoyed. Try to request a room on the upper floors for better views.

The very nice location at the riverside with luxurious open space, well maintained. Te excellent food and free access to all areas, the helpful personnel and the great rooms with a romantic view at the Douro River as well as the beautiful breakfeast terrace.
A spa area could improve the price value ratio of the not unexpensive hotel. Restaurant personnel is helpful and flexible but seems a bit disorganized and slow, however the concierges were very helpful and provided excellent support and good recommendations for restaurants and trips.

I go to this hotel since 1997, from the time that belonged to the Taylors. Some things have changed for the better in the hotel, but the Douro's most popular, most people already have. There are more boats on the river and in summer you can not stay at the Vintage House Hotel, is full of tourists. The rest is the best location of the Douro and have the charm of a countryside hotel.

Excellent view over the river Douro. Very good location to relax in a extravagant/luxory ambiance. Small balcony with two chairs or the canvas chairs near the pool let the Portwine taste even better.
it is difficult to discover surrounding area by foot (no boardwalk, no hiking trails). Friendly staff, yet poorly trained.

I enjoyed the ambience, particularly the terrace for lunch. I enjoyed the architecture of the hotel. I enjoyed the view from my room which was spacious and very comfortable, especially the pillows. the food was good and the senior waiter was excellent.

The Port was great! Location in the valley and comfort of our room with our own balcony--excellent. Cleaning staff was prompt and responsive, very nice.
The lighting was a little dim, it was not easy to read. Could use brighter bulbs at least at the bedside.
